We added something new to our apartment yesterday. We "decorated", if you will. Any guesses as to what these new decorations include? If you guessed blindingly white posters with tri-color sharpie art, you would be correct.
If you had come to my apartment last night this is what you would have seen. But only if you came within the 10 minute window they were actually on the wall. They came falling down shortly after, and are just hanging out on the kitchen table. New stickier tape is on the grocery list. Jealous of the decorations? You too can have posters as cool as these. They come complete with an exam on March 31st that you are required to pass to graduate. A test that not a single person passed this past week for our "practice exam", myself included. So, once new tape is purchased, this is what I will be staring at for the next month plus. Ha, pretty, I know.
And I have yet another "Jessica's a genius" story for you. (but to preface, I'm tired. Really tired. Not an excuse, but at least it makes me feel a little bit better about my dumb comments. Ha.) As I was leaving church this morning, the guy next to me asked if I was a student, and at which coffee shops I studied. He then proceeded to hand me his business card. He owns a restaurant/coffee shop near the Strand. When we got in the car, Mary Alice asked me where he was from (he had a cool accent). I was busy looking at the card he had just handed me that said "Czech, German, and Hungarian Drinks and Food." So my response to her question? "Hungaria." HUNGARIA!?!?! Seriously? I mean, really? Hungaria? Um, Hungary maybe? Yes, my first degree is in International Studies. Yes, I say dumb things at increasingly close intervals. Yes, I'm a genius. Holy crap Jessica.
